Shipping policy

We ship Monday-Friday using UPS and USPS.

Smoked Meats/Cheese: Any orders that include smoked meats and/or cheese placed Thursday - Sunday will be shipped the following Monday, location & time of year dependent. Some orders that include smoked meats and/or cheese may get shipped on a Thursday or Friday if the weather is cool & location is closer to our facility. We strive to prevent smoked meats & cheese from sitting too long in transit if it's summer (or the final destination is in a warm location), even when properly insulated.

Our default choice for shipping UPS (unless shipping packages *see note below).

USPS PRIORITY:  Please note USPS Priority takes anywhere from 2-3 days and the shipping time goes into effect based on when the package was shipped (please refer to our general shipping policy above). Most USPS orders go out the following day from when placed

due to the USPS pickup time at our location.

All 4.5oz salami pouches are vacuum sealed and shelf-stable, therefore not considered perishable and require no special shipping care. 

Driftless Provisions Packages

Shipping Cost: Package prices (including Classic, Driftless, Gathering, and the Seasonal Holiday Charcuterie Packages) include shipping. If any other items are added to the cart in combination with a package, customer will pay shipping for additional items. 

Insulated Coolers

Insulated coolers are a shipping option year-round for all products. Insulated coolers are highly recommended for any products being shipped to a warm place or during summer for orders that include smoked products and cheese. Driftless Provisions is not responsible for perishable items that are received warm and/or melted (includes cheese and smoked products) if customer does not choose this as the shipping method.
